I was born in 1965. I’m married and have a son (born in 2000).
I started as an SWL with a HF receiver, a Heathkit HR10B. In 1983 I got a novice license with the callsign PD0NXV and in 2014 I did the exam for the full license and got the call PA3RIS.
I use a Icom IC7000 with a LDG AT-7000 autotuner. For digimodes I use Ham Radio Deluxe with DM780.
My old callsigns are PD0NXV and DO2RIS.
In my car I use APRS, the callsign is PA3RIS-9. For that I use a Condor 16 with a Opentracker USB made by Argent Data systems (N1VG) and a simple GPS mouse.
Since 1982 I’m operator at several JOTA stations in the Netherlands. Since 2010 at the Dutch JOTA-JOTI Headquarters PA6JAM/J.
Hobbys: HAM radio, music (playing and mixing old disco and other good music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s) , Scouting/JOTA and Geocaching (username qltel)
